Marketing for Real Estate Agencies in Qatar
Property has the cheapest English-language clicks of any category we measured in Qatar: sixteen cents to rent an apartment in Doha. Cheap clicks bring plenty of enquiries. The difficult part is getting more of the ones that become viewings.

- Rental demand leads. Apartments and villas to rent get 2,400 searches a month each, at 16 and 17 cents a click.
- Cheap clicks, uneven enquiries. An account that counts every enquiry finds more of the easiest ones, which are rarely the best.
- Tracking works, but counts the wrong thing. All six agencies we measured had tracking working. The next step is teaching it which enquiries became viewings.
- Arabic is untouched. None of the six agency sites had Arabic on the page, while Arabic rental searches cost 14 to 17 cents a click.

For the price of one click on a hair salon search in Doha, you can buy ten property clicks. Sales searches are smaller and the big portals hold the top unpaid results for generic terms like “real estate qatar”. Searches that name an area, a property type or a bedroom count are where an agency can compete.
Where property campaigns go wrong
We measured six real estate agencies in Qatar that were advertising at the time. In total, we analysed 509 of their live ads.
- Counting every enquiry the same. A viewing request from someone moving next month and a casual message about a property twice their budget look identical in a report. The platform then looks for more of whichever is easier to get, not more of the enquiries that make the advertiser money.
- No Arabic. All six agency sites were in English only. «فلل للايجار قطر» gets 390 searches a month at 17 cents a click, with no Arabic page from these agencies to land on.
- Calls left out. Two of the six had no tap-to-call number, and three had no WhatsApp link. In property, many serious enquiries start with a call.
Every one of the six had tracking that fired on a normal visit. So the gap in this category is not installing tracking. It is telling the platform which enquiries mattered. Here is how we measured these sites.
How we run property campaigns
01
Specific searches
Searches: area, type and size, for example “2 bedroom apartment Lusail” or “villa for rent Al Waab”.
Why: the searcher has already decided what they want.
Lands on: a page with matching listings, not your homepage.
02
Arabic rentals
Searches: Arabic villa and apartment rental searches, at 14 to 17 cents a click.
What we build: an Arabic landing page written in Arabic.
What you get: enquiries from searchers your competitors are not serving.
03
Viewings, fed back
What we count: a viewing attended or a lease signed, sent back against the original click.
Why: this is what stops cheap traffic pulling the account toward weak enquiries.
What you get: a cost per viewing, not just a cost per lead.
Sending viewings back to the platform without exposing customer data is covered in first-party data and consent mode.
Areas, portals and your CRM
- Areas. Where your data shows areas such as Lusail, The Pearl, West Bay or Al Waab performing differently, each gets its own campaign. Where it does not, we keep one budget.
- The portals. Keep your portal listings. Paid search on specific terms works alongside them.
- Your CRM. Viewings and signed leases need to be recorded somewhere we can read them, even a simple spreadsheet to start.

Common questions
Clicks are cheap in property. Why would we need help?
Because cheap clicks make lead quality harder to manage. An account that counts every enquiry the same finds more of the easiest ones to generate, which rarely end in a signed lease. The fix is feeding back which enquiries became viewings.
How much does property advertising cost in Qatar?
The main property clicks cost 16 to 32 cents, so the media budget goes a long way. Our management fee is quoted separately. Most of the work goes into the pages and the feedback loop, not the bids.
Can we compete with the property portals?
Not on generic terms like “real estate qatar”, where the portals hold the top results. You can compete on searches that name an area, a property type or a bedroom count. Those searchers have already decided what they want.
Is Arabic worth targeting for property?
Yes. «فلل للايجار قطر» gets 390 searches a month at 17 cents a click, and none of the six agency sites we measured had an Arabic page. It needs a page written in Arabic, not a translated one.
How do you measure a lead that closes months later?
We record the outcome, a viewing attended or a lease signed, and send it back to the platform against the original click. It takes some setup, and it is the difference between optimising for enquiries and optimising for tenants.
