In total, English has more searches: about 890 a month against 580. But the two languages are asking for different things. The English searcher wants a firm. The Arabic searcher wants a lawyer, often for a personal matter. They need different ads and different pages.
Legal clicks in Qatar are inexpensive, at under 60 cents. One retained client covers a great many of them, so the useful question is which clicks became consultations.
What we found on four law firm websites
We measured four law firms in Qatar that were advertising at the time. In total, we analysed 52 of their live ads.
- No Arabic for the Arabic searcher. All four homepages were in English. One firm had a separate Arabic page, 90% Arabic, that told search engines it was English.
- A phone number you cannot tap. Two firms showed their number as plain text. On a phone, after a paid click, the visitor has to copy it and dial by hand.
- Tracking gaps. One firm had no tracking of any kind. Another had tracking that waited until the visitor moved or scrolled.
None of the enquiry forms we found marked any field as required, so incomplete messages arrive looking like real ones. Here is how we measured these sites.
One campaign per language, one budget per practice area
01
The Arabic campaign
Who it reaches: people searching for a lawyer in Arabic, often for a personal matter.
What we build: copy and a landing page written in legal Arabic, with its own budget.
What we count: calls, WhatsApp messages and consultation requests.
02
The English campaign
Who it reaches: businesses and residents searching for a law firm.
What we build: pages by practice area, such as corporate, employment or real estate law.
What we count: the same, so both languages can be compared.
03
Practice areas apart
Why: a corporate retainer and a family consultation are worth very different amounts.
What we do: separate campaigns and budgets, so the cheapest enquiries do not take over.
What you get: a cost per consultation for each area of law.
Details that matter for a law firm
- Legal Arabic has its own register. Copy translated from English rarely holds it, so we write the Arabic directly.
- Consultations booked elsewhere. If bookings complete in a third-party calendar, your own tags cannot see them. We check this first and tell you what can be counted.
- Confidentiality. What goes back to the ad platform is a conversion signal, never the details of a matter.

Common questions
Should a law firm in Qatar advertise in Arabic or English?
Both, in separate campaigns, because they reach different people. “Law firm qatar” is searched mostly in English, 720 times a month. Searches for a lawyer run 580 a month in Arabic against 170 in English. None of the four firm homepages we measured had Arabic for those searchers to land on.
How much does legal advertising cost in Qatar?
Clicks cost between 39 and 55 cents on the main terms. On top of the media budget there is our management fee, quoted separately after the first call. We usually start with the practice areas you most want to grow.
Can you measure consultations booked through our calendar system?
It depends on the system. If the booking completes inside a third-party calendar, no tag on your own site can see it. We check this before any budget is spent and tell you plainly what can and cannot be counted.
How long before we see enquiries?
Enquiries can start in the first week. Judging which practice areas and which language pay back takes longer, usually a few months of recorded consultations. We ask for a three-month minimum.
