Marketing for Dental Clinics in Qatar
A dental click in Qatar costs about forty cents, so a hundred dollars buys roughly 250 visits. A single implant or orthodontic case is worth far more than that. The question is whether you can tell which visit became the case.
Book a free 30‑minute consultationThe short version
- Traffic is cheap. “Dental clinic qatar” costs $0.40 a click and “dentist doha” $0.76.
- Two kinds of searcher. Some are choosing a clinic. Others already know the treatment they want. They need different ads and pages.
- Most spend goes unmeasured. Two of the three dental clinics we measured were running ads with no tracking of any kind.
- Arabic is missing. None of the three sites had Arabic on the page we measured, although Arabic dental searches cost under 40 cents a click.
What dental patients in Qatar search for

|---|---|---|
| dentist doha | 720 | $0.76 |
| dental clinic qatar | 720 | $0.40 |
| teeth whitening qatar | 320 | $0.64 |
| orthodontist qatar | 30 | $0.83 |
Semrush, Qatar database, September 2026. Estimates — treat the ordering as reliable and the absolute figures as approximate.
General searches carry the volume. “Dentist doha” and “dental clinic qatar” get 720 searches a month each, from people choosing where to go. Treatment searches are smaller but more decided: “teeth whitening qatar” gets 320, from someone who already knows what they want.
The Arabic side is small in Semrush but cheap. «عيادة اسنان قطر» gets 210 searches a month at $0.38 a click. Semrush misses much of the Arabic long tail, so the real Arabic demand is likely higher than it shows.
Where dental ad budgets leak
We measured three dental clinics in Qatar that were advertising at the time. In total, we analysed 54 of their live ads.
- No tracking. Two of the three had no analytics, conversion tag or ad pixel firing. They could see what they spent and nothing about what it produced.
- No Arabic. All three pages were entirely in English. An Arabic-speaking patient who clicked an ad landed on a page not written for them.
- One campaign for everything. A patient choosing a clinic and a patient pricing an implant are at different stages. Put in one campaign, the cheaper searches take most of the budget.
All three sites did one thing well: a phone number you can tap. That matters, because many dental enquiries start with a call. It also means calls need counting as conversions. Here is how we measured these sites.
How we set up a dental account
01
Clinic searches
Searches: “dentist doha”, “dental clinic qatar” and their Arabic versions.
Who it reaches: people choosing a clinic, often for the whole family.
Where it lands: a page with location, hours, languages spoken and a tap-to-call button.
02
Treatment searches
Searches: whitening, implants, orthodontics, each in its own campaign.
Who it reaches: patients who have already decided on a treatment.
Where it lands: one page per treatment that answers what it involves and how to book.
03
Booking measurement
What we count: calls, WhatsApp taps and confirmed appointments.
How: we check whether your booking system can report a completed booking back. If it cannot, we measure the step before it and tell you what that costs in accuracy.
What you get: cost per booked patient, by treatment.
An implant enquiry is worth more than a whitening enquiry. Telling the platform that difference is covered in Max Conversions versus value-based bidding.
Before you launch in Qatar
- Healthcare advertising rules. Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions has circulars on how practitioners advertise and use social media (01-2021, amended by 01-2022, and 03-2019). We agree the wording with you before launch. Read the circulars.
- Calls and WhatsApp. Many patients call or message rather than fill a form, so both are counted as conversions from day one.
- Arabic pages. Written in Arabic from the start, with their own campaign and budget.

Common questions
Is Google Ads worth it for a dental clinic in Qatar?
On the numbers, usually yes. Clicks cost between 40 and 80 cents, and one implant or orthodontic case is worth many times that. The risk is spending for months without knowing which clicks became patients, which is what two of the three clinics we measured were doing.
How much does it cost?
There are two costs: the media budget you pay Google or Meta directly, and our management fee. At dental click prices a modest budget buys a lot of traffic, so we start small, prove the tracking, then scale. We quote both after the first call.
Should we advertise treatments or the clinic?
Both, in separate campaigns. Treatment searches come from patients who have decided what they want. Clinic searches come from people still choosing where to go. Run together, the cheaper searches take the budget and you cannot see which produced what.
How quickly would we see results?
Demand is immediate: someone searching for a dentist in Doha is usually ready to book within days. What takes longer is building enough recorded bookings for automated bidding to learn from. We ask for a three-month minimum for that reason.
Our booking system is on a separate site. Is that a problem?
For measurement, it can be. If the booking completes on a site you do not control, your own tags may not see it. You do not need to replace the system. We check what it can report back and design the measurement around it.
