Marketing in Riyadh — paid search and social, measured to the customer
Riyadh is one of the largest markets we measured in the Gulf. Schools draw 27,100 searches a month, hospitals and restaurants 22,200 each. At that scale, not knowing which half of the budget works gets expensive quickly.

Where Riyadh accounts lose money
- Translated Arabic. The capital types in everyday spellings. A translated list misses them.
- Expensive legal clicks counted as form fills. At $4.47 a click, the account has to learn which enquiries became clients.
- Long decisions, short windows. School admissions take months, and Google Ads credits a click for at most 90 days. The campaign has to count an earlier step, such as a booked visit.
Our plan for a Riyadh account
01
Arabic from the data
What we do: build keywords from how Riyadh searches, then write the ads in Arabic.
02
Search and social together
Search: for people already looking.
Snapchat, TikTok and Meta: for people who discover a business first, judged on customers.
03
The right conversion
Clinics: booked appointments. Schools: campus visits. Online stores: order value from Salla or Zid.
Planning for Riyadh
- Ramadan, Hajj season, National Day and the November sales all shift demand. We plan them weeks ahead.
- The weekend is Friday and Saturday.

Common questions
Do you write the Arabic, or translate it?
We write it. A translated keyword list misses how Riyadh actually searches, and copy that reads as translated reads as foreign.
Which platforms do you run?
Google Ads, Snapchat, TikTok and Meta. Snapchat and TikTok are widely used in Saudi Arabia, and we judge them on customers, not views.
We sell through Salla or Zid. Can you work with that?
Yes. We set up the purchase event inside the platform and pass order value, so bidding learns from what each order was worth.
How much does it cost?
Most Riyadh clicks we measured cost under a dollar, but legal reaches $4.47. You set the media budget with us, and our fee is a flat monthly amount.
How long before we see results?
Riyadh's volume means campaigns gather data quickly, often within weeks. School campaigns are the exception, because admissions run for months.
